I stand before you at 26- a mother of two boys, story teller, photo taker, barefoot beauty chaser, generally imperfect human, n o s t a l g i s t

Since moving to the Mid North Coast, and having my first child in the midst of a pandemic Wallflower and Wild Photography has become my peace project. The business I never dreamt into being but rather just appeared. ​

​

In truth, I've struggled with this new identity that is motherhood, marvelled in it too, but photography has been a means to remembering to slow down, see more beauty.

​

​If I had a photo of everything my child found beautiful I would have a collection of ceiling fans, powerlines and flies tucked away in a gallery- once again reminding me that our children sometimes have more to teach us than we do them.  

 

I have a soft spot for the mums; I want them to know what it is to feel beautiful in the moments that sometimes seem ordinary, to capture moments with essence. To be rugged, raw and real. ​I want you to feel seen within your family unit. And one day, when the weeks have blurred into years I want your children to see you too; all of the love and all of the beauty that has been there since the beginning of time, captured perfectly in a family album. ​
